One of the other residents of the boarding house Oskar, gets into a fight with his wife Suzie and is kicked out of his room. Feeling rejected, he tries to find a new room to sleep in, but nobody offers. With no other option, he decides to move in with Arnold. After Arnold is tired of Oskar’s stay, he decides to act as cupid and restore the couple.

Arnold is accidentally delivered a package meant for a ‘Mr. Smith.’ Everyone in the boarding house becomes curious about what is inside the package. Arnold and Gerald attempt to get the package safely to its intended recipient by searching all over town.
